In These Terms and Conditions of Business The Following Neanings Shall Apply: -

"alfatec.co.uk" shall mean AlphaTec Business Ltd.

"The Customer" shall mean any person or persons, firm or company who buys or agrees to buy goods and services from alfatec.co.uk. Before using the alfatec.co.uk website customers should carefully read the following terms and conditions which govern the use of this website.

By accessing any page on the alfatec.co.uk website, the customer agrees to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. These Terms and Conditions may be updated by alfatec.co.uk from time to time by posting the updated Terms and Conditions without prior separate notification to the customer. The customer should check for updates to the Terms and Conditions by accessing the alfatec.co.uk website.

  •  All products supplied by alfatec.co.uk are new.

alfatec.co.uk will not be liable to you by reason of any implied warranty, condition or other terms, or any duty at common law, or under the terms of our contract with you, for any indirect, special or consequential loss or damage (whether for loss of profit or otherwise), costs, expenses or other claims for compensation whatsoever (whether caused by our negligence) which arise out of or in connection with the supply of the goods or their use by you.

Delivery & Prices:- 

We offer a range of delivery options and prices. The price quoted for the Products excludes delivery charges because we wish to give the customer a choice of service. We offer a variety of delivery options. The customer is invited to choose the way that they would prefer the goods to be delivered during the checkout process.

To ensure same day despatch orders for next day delivery must be received by 12.00 in the afternoon. This is subject to the goods being available. Goods ordered after 4.30pm will be despatched, subject to stock availability, on the next working day.

  •   Next working day delivery (up to 5:30 pm) £17.50
  •   Shipping to Northern Ireland £17.50
  •   shipping to EU countries £37.50
  •   Express Same day £55.50

The above options are available for all orders to mainland UK. Due to the location of certain postcodes delivery may sometimes take longer than normal. In these circumstances, we will make every effort to deliver the order as soon as possible. For certain heavier or oversized items the above time scales will not apply. alfatec.co.uk will make every effort to deliver this type of item as quickly as possible. It may sometimes be necessary to charge a premium for special deliveries. alfatec.co.uk will always agree with the method of despatch and any additional cost with the customer in advance.

  • We offer mainland UK Same day delivery, subject to stock availability. For delivery charges please contact us.
  • We also despatch products globally, for delivery charges above 1.9 kg please contact us.

Please note that the above options are not applicable to photocopiers, large format printers, digital duplicators, etc. Delivery charges for these items will depend on size, weight, destination and the type of service and maintenance agreement. Free delivery, installation, and training included in the price when purchasing photocopiers, large format printers, digital duplicators, etc.  with an inclusive service & maintenance agreement. Please take into account that without this option you may be charged an additional sum. For delivery charges please contact us.

Delivery is considered to be to a ground floor reception or store area only. Please notify us in advance if you have any special delivery requirements - there might be an additional charge for this service.

All delivery schedules are subject to change depending on the supply situation within the market place. alfatec.co.uk will try to keep to the schedule to the best of its ability, but if in the event of a delay it is not possible to despatch the order promptly the customer will receive a phone call or an e-mail to advise of this.

alfatec.co.uk will confirm with the customer if they wish to continue with the transaction offering the opportunity to cancel or part-ship the order.

If the goods are lost in transit, the order is incomplete, the wrong goods have been sent or they are found to be damaged on delivery, the customer must contact alfatec.co.uk immediately.

Once the delivery has been made, the customer is solely responsible for protecting the goods against damage or loss.

alfatec.co.uk will not take payment from the customer’s debit or credit card until the order is ready for despatch. alfatec.co.uk operates in this way to ensure that the customer does not have to pay for goods that are not in stock. At the request of the customer, orders may be despatched in multiple shipments if only part of the order is in stock.

For the majority of items supplied by alfatec.co.uk, we offer a facility that allows delivery to be made to a 3rd party address. Deliveries to premises other than the billing address of the credit/debit card will be specifically confirmed by alfatec.co.uk and this could delay the despatch. Additionally, also for security reasons, we are unable to despatch high-value goods to a 3rd party address under any circumstances whatsoever.

Photocopiers and Large Format Printers:

Free delivery, installation, and training included in the price of all photocopiers and large format printers when purchasing with an inclusive service maintenance agreement should the customer not required to take an inclusive service maintenance agreement there will be an additional charge for delivery, installation, and training which in this case please contact us for quotation)

Privacy Policy & Security

alfatec.co.uk is committed to protecting your privacy. alfatec.co.uk will use the information supplied by the customer lawfully and in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998.

The information is collected for two reasons: to process the order and to provide the customer with the best possible service. alfatec.co.uk will not supply the customer’s information to any third party. alfatec.co.uk will not contact the customer on any further occasion unless the customer has agreed to receive emailed information about products and offers. The customer will agree to this by subscribing to the newsletter.

lfatec.co.uk collects the following information about the customer:

  • Email address

alfatec.co.uk will never collect sensitive information about the customer without their consent.

The information held by alfatec.co.uk will be accurate and up to date. The customer can check the information held by alfatec.co.uk. If any inaccuracies are found alfatec.co.uk will promptly delete or correct as necessary.

The personal information that is held by alfatec.co.uk will be stored securely and in accordance with our internal security policy and the law.

alfatec.co.uk may use technology to track the patterns of behaviour of visitors to the site. This can include using a "cookie" which would be stored on the customer’s browser. The customer is usually able to modify their browser to prevent this happening.

alfatec.co.uk take very seriously the customer’s security when buying online. As with any conscientious business, our customers' security is extremely important to us. We use dedicated web server technology supplied by Comodo Positive SSL and we take utmost care in ensuring that any data passing through our website is safe and secure.

alfatec.co.uk offers a 100% satisfaction guarantee: This means that if a customer is not 100% satisfied with any product they buy from alfatec.co.uk they may return it within seven days and alfatec.co.uk will refund the purchase price to the customer.

The customer must contact alfatec.co.uk within seven working days by e-mail to confirm cancellation request and obtain return instructions before returning any items.

For a full refund all goods, including accessories, must be returned in their original and unopened condition, complete with their original packaging, documentation, and manuals within seven days, However, special order item's subject to 25% deduction for restocking should the order be canceled for any reason.

alfatec.co.uk does not refund postage & packing and any product purchased and canceled or returned after 7 days subject to a cancellation fee of 25% deduction of total amount and 3% Card charges would not also not be refunded if cancellation received after 45 days as per Paypal terms and condition.

Returns & Replacements

It is the customer's responsibility to check and to make sure that they have placed an order for the correct item and the goods on delivery. All goods sold by alfatec.co.uk carry the benefit of the manufacturer's basic warranty.

alfatec.co.uk would like to think that customers will be delighted with their order at all times, but there may be occasions when the customer feels it necessary to return an item. This does not affect the customer's statutory rights.

If the customer is not happy with the goods, it is possible to return them within 7 days of the delivery date.

For a full refund all goods, including accessories, must be returned in their original and unopened condition, complete with their original packaging, documentation, and manuals. alfatec.co.uk does not refund postage & packing.

Please note that any charges made for pre-programming services are non-refundable once the service has been provided. The money you have paid us for the product will be refunded within 30 days of your cancellation, after deducting any charge we make where we have had to recover the product from you.

  • Please also note that alfatec.co.uk does not accept returns of special purchase items and consumables.
  •  All electronic parts within the products sold carry a minimum 12-month full guarantee from the date of purchase.
  •  A copy of the purchase invoice (receipt) must accompany any returned product.

alfatec.co.uk considers that it offers the best available value. The prices are regularly checked with those of the competitors to ensure that the customer is   given the most competitive price. The customer may notice price and stock fluctuations at all time, In this respect it is customer responsibility to contact alfatec.co.uk by phone or E-mail to check the pricing and make sure products are in stock before placing order on line. This is purely a response to market forces and alfatec.co.uk reserves the right at all times to change retail prices and stock availability without notice. The customer should be aware however that the price quoted on the order confirmation by PRO-FORMA invoice is always the price that will be charged.
